Whilst some vendors such as Qlik (Attunity) end support for solutions on OpenVMS, Software AG continues to support and develop solutions for OpenVMS.
“Software AG has no plans to change support for the OpenVMS platform, and will continue to support access, virtualization and replication of data stored in RMS files, Oracle Rdb and Oracle Codasyl DBMS on all current OpenVMS platforms.
Apart from fully supporting CONNX on all current OpenVMS platforms, support for OpenVMS on x86 will be coming soon.” Stated Daniel Bierman, Principal Product Manager for CONNX at Software AG.
